Immigrant Women of Inspiration 2021: Call for nominations
Inspiring immigrant women on the frontlines of COVID-19
In honour of International Women’s Day each March, Canadian Immigrant has been recognizing some truly inspirational immigrant women in Canada since 2014.
Several women are selected annually by a Canadian Immigrant judging panel for their achievements and influence in their area of expertise of sphere of influence. A new theme or category is chosen annually. Since 2014, women have been chosen in the areas of: female empowerment (2014); entrepreneurship (2015); academia (2016); arts (2017); immigrant women advocates (2018); women of influence (2019; and changemakers (2020).
Canadian Immigrant is currently putting together its eight annual Immigrant Women of Inspiration list to feature in the April 2021 issue of our Magazine. Given the challenges we have faced with the pandemic over the past year, the 2021 spotlight is on models and everyday heroes who are making an impact on the fight against COVID-19 in their own unique ways.
These immigrant women are contributing to the greater good and making positive change, leading by example and are committed to leading and inspiring others to do more.
If you are, or have a suggestion of, an immigrant woman in Canada who has inspired others in the community, served as a leader, or are a changemaker, please fill out the nomination form below by March 2, 2021! And yes, you can nominate yourself!
