Taking inspiration from Vancouver Asian Heritage Month’s “First Families, First Stories” project, the Canada Indonesia Diaspora Society wants to collect the stories of our pioneer families that explores their immigration experience: their settlement and integration experience, their participation in everyday life, and their religious affectations.
Through a crowdfunding campaign, we hope to be able to access audio, visual and other resources, which, when completed, will add a colourful contribution to a multicultural Canada.
