Q: Which immigration applications are the responsibility of the visa office in Beirut?

A: Canada’s visa office in Beirut, Lebanon is responsible for the following immigration programs:
• permanent residence program, excluding Business Class applications,
• temporary residence program, including applications for visiting, working temporarily and studying in Canada, as well as applications for travel documents made by Canadian residents.
Economic Class applications for permanent residence have to be sent to the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia first. Family Class applications should be sent to the Case Processing Center in Mississauga, Ontario first.
